Hey all, it’s been a while since I’ve posted, I’m working hard on a number of new projects and should be posting samples of work fairly soon. In the meantime Hellbound II has been released. Right now you can get the hand made limited edition box set of the anthology. It’s an absolutely beautiful collectors item, hand bound and covered with home made paper, and with 2 color screen print cover artwork by Jesse Lonergan. You can read more about the limited edition version here, as well as order yourself a copy.
There are also interviews with all of the creators in the anthology over at the Hellbound site. Here’s a link of mine along with Nathan Kitler, the writer I worked with for the Necrocomicon.
So I often find myself messing around and doodling on the weekends. It’s fun, I rarely take anything I doodle to completion, but sometimes… doodles attack. This started with my noodling around with photoshop. practicing my hand, and working on lighting and shading. Also I’ve been getting into working with limited palettes. I picked 5 colors and just started painting. It was supposed to be an afternoon exercise. Scores of hours and a whole bunch of Sunday afternoons later and here we have it. I’m calling it Spider City Stumbles. It had actually sat on my computer about 90% complete during all the preparation for MICE, now that MICE is over I thought I jump back in and finish it off. Hope you like it.
